Talks: Alex Gessner on AI for the general public

As part of our engagement with the local community, Alexandra Gessner and Patrick Klügel (from Cyber Valley) gave an introductory lecture on machine learning for a group of elderly people at Begegnungsstätte Hirsch in Tübingen. Our goal was to demystify the term "artificial intelligence" and show how researchers get machines to learn.

With numerous smart questions and comments from the audience, we got to enjoy an interactive session followed by a lively discussion on the role of AI in society.
